Synopsis The Big Bang Theory: Season 9, Episode 22

Penny has received tickets to a wine tasting, and has invited all her friends to go with her. Everyone accepts except Sheldon, who has no interest, and Bernadette, who can't drink since she's pregnant. So Sheldon suggests that when everyone else is at the wine tasting, he and Bernadette spend time together doing things for that he normally likes to do and that Bernadette is reduced to now only being able to do since she's pregnant. Bernadette reluctantly accepts Sheldon's invitation. She ends up being surprised by their time together. At the wine tasting, the gang runs into Zack, Penny's old boyfriend who she hasn't seen since before she and Leonard got married. Zack's simplistic way of looking at the world makes for an uncomfortable evening for Leonard, Howard and Raj, the first two who reevaluate working on their prototype for the guidance system, and Raj who is trying to play it overly casual with his date for the evening, Claire, upon her first meeting with his friends.

Zach's Back!

This episode brought back Zach! Penny's dumb boyfriend from earlier seasons.

Summary: This episode followed the gang going to a wine tasting from Penny's work. Taj brings Claire and introduces her as a friend. They run into Zach and he talks to Penny and the gang a bit and when he finds out Leonard and Oenny got married he says he was always rooting for them. Things get awkward when Zach tells Howard and Leonard that their invention might be used as a weapon and it worries Leonard. Zach also takes an interest in Claire which complicates things. The other part of the story follows Sheldon and Bernadette, who didn't go the wine tasting, Sheldon because he doesn't like it and Bernadette who can't drink because of the pregnancy. They end up playing games and in the end they end up having fun.

This episode was funny as we got to see Dumb Zach again which is always great an it was funny and sweet with the scenes between Sheldon and Bernadette as they don't usually get much screen time together.

Another funny one Big Bang. Can't wait for next week!
